18th-19th c. Chinese Szechwan Lolo Leather Armor Set
It's quite hard to find lolo armor intact, so when I aquired this set it was a pleasant surprise to find only a small section of laquer flaking off. I've only seen 2 in the last 10 years. (bought them both) This suit comes with a matching arm guard. They would use it like a shield while the other hand was free with the sword. Skirt is a bit tight on one side, but easily fixed in a day with some leather conditioner.

Extremely Rare 17th-18th c. Bhutanese Helmet
Not many of these around, especially with the originally padding, earflaps and top ring. The original chin straps are still intact also. The condition of the fabric is poor, but the fabric that originally was sewn to the delicate fabric is in good condition. The chased silver work is very fine and in great condition for the age. The photos speak for themselves. CLICK HERE FOR MORE PHOTOS.

Fine 19th c. Chinese Strung Bow
Very fine 19th century chinese recurved composite bow. It's made from several different layers of material including senew, bone, horn, wood, bark, etc. The entire back of the bow is reinforced with 2 large pieces of horn. It's quite rare to see a bow still strung. This bow is in excellent condition. 55 1/4 inches overall. Small old repair, probably a surface repair. Doesn't appear to have an effect on the strength or shape of the bow. CLICK HERE FOR MORE PHOTOS.

Massive 19th c. Chinese Horseman's Sword
The minute you take this sword out of the sheath, it's clear it didn't belong to a small person. The blade is enormous, but still quite light for it's size. Signatures under the wrapping indicates that it was most likely owned by a member of a secret society or gang. A friend of mine from Hong Kong read it to say "qing feng hao" Meaning: QING-celebrate FENG-abundant, plentiful, generous HAO-title. Blade is 33 ins. Overall size 39.5 in. In sheath 40.5 in. 2in at the widest point of blade. CLICK HERE FOR MORE PHOTOS.
