Please check back often. I will be adding more every week. I realize there are only a couple books on the subject, making it difficult to date or find the country of origin for a barrel. Usually they are unmarked and one can only date them from the shape and age of others that resemble it.

I Recently I had the privilege to have a private tour of the Military Museum in Barcelona (Museo_Militar) We had the museum to ourselves and he was kind enough to let us take many photos and video. Many questions were answered about my fascination with Spanish swords and armor. please take a look at some of the photos of the extensive collection that Barcelona history has to offer.
