Showa era Japanese Katana sword
Fine Showa sword made by Asano Kanesane. WWII era blade, handle, menuke, Fuchi and Kashira. Tsuba appears to be very old. Blade is very fine with a wild hamon. to see more info on the maker, click on more photos below. scabbard appears to be a replacement. Tsuba is a little loose, could use another seppa. 26 inch cutting edge. 36.5 inches overall with handle. Extremely sharp.

Very well made Japanese matchlock. unusual form. Signed kuni Tomo Tanba Mune Toshi. Signatures/stamps on the stock behind barrel. appears to be the original ramrod. matchlock cord tied to ring. bore 15mm. Barrell 29 3/4 in. overall 42 in.

c1860-1870 Japanese Katana, Signed Fujiwara Kuni Mitsu
This Fujiwara Kuni Mitsu blade was remounted in WWII mountings. This was common for soldiers to carry the blades of their ancestors. Fujiwara Kuni Mitsu is a well known late Shinshinto Seki Kaji. The forging in this particular blade is quite interesting; Asugi Hada with Choji Hamon in dense Nloi, with Ashi. The blade has been expertly repolished. Very sharp edge. Cutting edge from Habaki is 24 3/4 inches. from end of Habaki 26 inches. Blade to end of tang is 32 1/2 in. In sheath, overall 40 3/8 in. CLICK HERE FOR MORE PHOTOS.

Fine 19th c. Japanese Percussion Tanegashima Rifle
Unique 19th c Japanese rifle decorated with thick silver inlay, and chiselled thick brass details. Barrel is signed: KAWA CHI YOSHI TSUGU MADE THIS. 2 LAYER ROLL UP. Yoshi Tsugu of Kawachi Province , made of two layers of rollled iron. c. 1850-1860.
